Why I still view Chase Sapphire Reserve as the best Travel Credit Card

If you travel at least twice a year, you should get a travel credit card, period.

Among many travel credit cards, my favorite always remains one answer- Chase Sapphire Reserve card.  Note that if you apply for a card just for intro bonus and will cancel it after a year, my recommendation does not apply to you. You can do whatever you like for the bonus.

Annual Fee

Annual Fee is $550 which sounds like a lot. But there is $300 travel credit which you can use for anything such as airline, rental car, bus, parking etc. If you travel even just once you can easily consider this is just cash. So CSR is basically a $250 annual fee card. Compared with other $250 fee card such as Amex Gold you get way more benefits.

Instacart+ Membership ($100)
If you need to shop grocery online, Instacart+ gives you same day delivery from lots of grocery markets including Costco.

Instacart Credit ($180)
You will receive a $15 credit per month when using Instacart

Dashpass ($120)
Free Dashpass

Dash Credit ($60)
Monthly credit off $5

Airport Lounge Access
Every time I travel by Air, I always use Airport Lounge to get water snack or even lunch/dinner. With a family of 3 we have saved at least $100 per trip (airport lunches are usually expensive and not so delicious especially in US).

There are many other benefits but just above can be easily beat the annual fee and don't forget UR points are most valuable points and with CSR card you can redeem for 50% more of their values.
