This is the era of deniers. There are deniers almost for everything. Deniers of Holocaust, Deniers of Nanking Massacre, Deniers of Covid vaccine, Deniers of Evolution, Deniers of Round Earth. It seems there is no fact any more, everything is merely a theory.
I think the reason of mounting number of deniers is: the cost of spreading rumors is very low on the web. No one will ask for a peer review, or a mathematic proof for what you said on twitter or blogger, including this article. Readers are trained by Facebook, Twitter or TikTok to consume information fast, not accurate. So a lot of people don't read proofs or have their own ways to verify, and take and spread the information as is.
Even more prolematic is people who spread false information has lots their time doing this, while true scientists, doctors, climate researchers are too busy working on actual ways to save lives of people or fight the climate change. They don't always have enough time to educate mass people what is fact, and what is a theory.
So here is a fact: 90% of doctors beleive covid vaccine is effective, and 96% of them had covid vaccine, yet even today there are still so many vaccine false information around the Internet.
